Stephanie Bennett
Stephanie is the proud mother of four and one of the founding teachers at Imagine Bilingual. She has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Spanish from Meredith College and a master’s degree in Education from East Carolina University. With over 15 years of teaching experience, she has worked with every age group—from preschoolers to adults—sharing her passion for learning across all stages of life.
Raised on the beautiful North Carolina coast, Stephanie developed a deep love for the outdoors, which she continues to enjoy through time spent skiing, hiking, kayaking and traveling with her husband and children.
With family roots in Ecuador and dual citizenship, Stephanie treasures speaking Spanish with her family and passing on her cultural heritage to her children.
When she’s not in the classroom, you can often find Stephanie on the soccer field, enthusiastically cheering on her children. Her dedication to education, family, and culture motivate her to be the best teacher she can be. She strives to inspire and excite students every day.
Hannah Wolfe
Hannah has a true passion for learning and for working with children, so it is no surprise that she has landed here at Imagine! With a bachelor’s degree in Outdoor Experiential Education from Appalachian State University, Hannah has worked in several nature-based and Montessori-inspired classrooms across Western North Carolina. She has nannied, taught, and guided children from pre-school to high-school and is excited to have landed in the middle-school classroom this year.
From a young age, Hannah has felt at home in the mountains of North Carolina and feels strongly that we have so much to learn from our diverse landscapes and ecosystems. She loves to introduce themes of mindfulness and connection to the natural world and its unique rhythms and seasons.
When she’s not in the classroom, you can often find Hannah out in the woods hiking or backpacking, practicing or teaching yoga, scanning the shelves at the library, farming and gardening with her partner, and cherishing time with her beloved community.
Hannah strives to show students that learning really can be fun, that curiosity and wonder are amazing guides, that how we speak to ourselves and to others holds such power, and that we each hold unique gifts that deserve to be nurtured and shared.

The Adolescent classroom at Imagine Bilingual strives to develop independent, self-directed learners who are intrinsically motivated to learn for the sake of learning—not simply for grades, prizes, or external rewards.
Our classroom combines hands-on learning, independent work, collaborative group activities, and project-based learning. We value creativity, curiosity, and interest-driven learning that encourages students to explore ideas beyond the walls of the classroom and make meaningful connections to the world around them.
While we maintain a strong focus on academic excellence, we believe education is about more than academics. We place equal value on relationships, problem-solving, collaboration, and developing the confidence to persevere through challenges. Students are encouraged to ask questions, make mistakes, find solutions, and take ownership of their learning.
As students progress through the Montessori Adolescent program, they are gradually given more responsibility, independence, and ownership over their education. Our goal is to help each student understand not only what they are learning, but why they are learning it—and to develop the skills, confidence, and curiosity to continue learning throughout life.
