Lynn Miller​ is a Watauga native from the Bethel community with extensive experience in Early Childhood Education. She was a Lead Teacher at Mary’s Montessori for 20+ years and is about to begin her 24th year with Watauga County Schools with the After School program. She excited to work again at Kinderwood/ Imagine with the 3-5 year olds. When she is not working with children she enjoys spending time with family and friends, two dogs and a cat, and trying new foods.

I have lived in North Carolina for almost 15 years; I am originally from Peru. I moved from Lima/Peru to Wilkesboro.  I live there with my husband and my animals.

I have a bachelor's degree in Business and an Associate of Arts. My first language is Spanish, and I speak English and a little French.

I’ve been working at Kinderwood School for almost 6 years. I never planned to work as a teacher; my work experience was completely different in the Ministry of Justice in my country. But never say never, and here I am.

​

I found a passion for working with kids, and I love their spontaneity and inquisitiveness. Besides, I am giving back by sharing my time with them and teaching Spanish. My heart is fulfilled at the end of the day, after I spend time with those little human beings. 

​

I also spend time taking care of my animals, gardening, playing with watercolors, playing with clay, and running my little business on Etsy.  I travel so often to see my family, back and forth to Peru and Colombia.
